(Senior) XR Designer - Fokus Virtual Reality

We are immediately looking for a creative and organized personality to support us in the design process and production of our Virtual Reality applications. Your Qualifications

• You have a background in Interaction Design, XR Design, Game Design, or UX Design
• You have several years of experience in designing interactive applications
• You have already accompanied multiple projects from concept to release
• You are enthusiastic about XR and technologies and have already gained experience with them – eye-tracking, hand tracking, and conversational UI are not foreign concepts to you
• You are a team player and have already worked in larger teams
• You have big visions but can also work well with external limitations
• Despite having an eye for detail, you don't lose sight of the big picture
• You have a well-structured and independent way of working
• You are not afraid to present your concepts internally and to clients
• You can communicate, present, and document excellently in German and English
• You live near Frankfurt

Your Areas of Responsibility

• You design XR applications based on customer wishes and with a good dose of creativity and innovation!
• You define interaction metaphors for Virtual and Augmented Reality applications and visualize them in user journeys
• You quickly and conscientiously familiarize yourself with various topics – from medicine to history to aviation!
• You visualize and document your concepts and communicate them with customers, developers, asset production, and project management
• You preserve the vision of the application and ensure that everything fits together in the end
• You accompany the production process from beginning to end – from the first scribble through implementation to final user testing
• You work closely with our project managers and support them in communicating with and advising customers, e.g., in the form of workshops

Nice to have:

• You have already implemented and adapted your concepts yourself, ideally in the Unity Engine
• You have experience with (spatial) UI design and/or tablet applications
• You have experience with (agile) project management, define tasks and priorities, and identify dependencies in the development process
