Project Manager Augmented Reality

Role Summary

As a Project Manager Augmented Reality at ZEISS, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring complex, cross-functional projects within the AR/VR department. This role involves overseeing project schedules, managing risks and issues, and centralizing communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor complex cross-functional projects in the AR/VR department.
• Own the overall project schedule and milestone overview, tracking progress.
• Manage risks and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Centralize information and ensure effective communication and reporting to customers and stakeholders.
• Handle new project requests and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Evaluate project performance and contribute to documentation and data analysis.
• Drive project management excellence by developing project management methods and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Successfully completed university degree in economics, natural sciences, or engineering.
• 3+ years of significant professional experience in project management in an international context.
• Strong interest in ophthalmic lens technology and/or augmented reality technology (knowledge in these areas is a plus).
• Ideally, experience working with US tech companies.
• Analytical skills with the ability to understand and present interrelationships and dependencies quickly.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on mentality with a strong results- and solution-oriented approach.
• Business fluent English language skills.
