Principal Designer - Innovation Studio

Dell's innovation team, part of the Experience Design Group, works to humanize the PC experience. We are a multi-functional team from diverse backgrounds who explore, define and build the human computing experiences of tomorrow, driving innovation at the intersection of Design, Technology & Strategy.

Role Overview

We're seeking a Principal Designer to lead innovation projects, guide multi-functional project teams, and deliver solutions that solve real problems with a bias to action.

Responsibilities

• Discover new opportunity areas and their implications for Dell
• Build UX simulations showcasing future experiences
• Translate strategic thinking into tangible next steps
• Lead complex projects exploring emerging technology and experiences
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate different skills and methodologies
• Guide UI flows, hardware interactions, and AR/VR projects

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years experience driving experience-led innovation
• Strong background in user experience and integrated experience design
• Proven ability to influence senior executives
• Adaptability with new technologies and hands-on approach
• Highly collaborative mindset
• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams

Desirable Requirements

• Knowledge of hardware and software design from concept to release
• Experience with innovation projects in agency or corporate settings
