Developer XR

Where will you be placed? You will become part of the Enterprise Architecture, Proposal Management & Digital Innovation Practice, led by AlmavivA's CTO. Place of employment: Milan

What role will you play? In the role of Developer XR you will have the task of:

• Design and implement AR/VR software solutions together with the XR team.
• Scout solutions and propose technological and methodological approaches.
• Collaborate on software projects with product design and back-end development teams.
• Generate demos and PoCs in fast prototyping mode.

What is your background? Having gained at least 3 years of experience in:

• software development in at least one of the following areas: AR, VR or XR;
• realization of Unity 3D projects for different platforms (Scripting, Animations, nested prefabs, scriptable objects, GUI styles, editor components, lighting, etc.);
• interfacing and integration with REST APIs;
• development in C#;
• software development in at least one of the following frameworks: ARFoundation, ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia, Microsoft MRTK, Magicleap Lumin SDK, Oculus SDK, Wikitude;
• modeling and manipulation of 3D objects (geometry, textures, animations, shaders, etc);
• development and deployment for VR and XR hardware (VR headset);

Nice to have:

• Good understanding of the English language and technical English
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Scientific disciplines
• High-level knowledge of the functioning of graphic engines
• Experience with other graphic engines (e.g. Unreal)
• C++ experience
• Experience with 3D object capture/digitization technologies, such as 3D scanning and photogrammetry
• Familiarity with ARCore and/or ARKit
• Familiarity with 3D modeling approaches and related platforms (Blender, Maya)
• Fundamentals of design patterns
• Knowledge of Cloud environments
• Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, results orientation, ability to work for objectives and in a team, predisposition to problem solving and analytical skills
