Design Digital Specialist

About the Role

Studio 2000X at Ford Motor Company seeks a Design Digital Specialist to provide advanced digital support to the Color & Materials (C&M) team within the Global Design Organization. This role emphasizes mentoring, training, and implementing process improvements to elevate the team’s capabilities and accelerate technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Support C&M leadership by developing strategic plans and enhancing team competencies.
• Conduct color calibration and physical-to-digital material scanning/verification.
• Improve digital configuration workflows and designer proficiency.
• Address and resolve network and remote issues; escalate as necessary.
• Track team objectives using Miro boards and report progress to leadership.
• Provide project management and coordinate resources between teams.
• Support visualization tasks, including digital configurations, stills, and animations.
• Manage data coordination, USB unlock requests, quarantine protocols, and related IT tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in VRED and visualization software applications.
• Experience with Viz I/O, Mat I/O, and digital material creation workflows.
• Knowledge of color calibration technologies, AI, MR (AR/VR), and design tools such as Adobe CC, Substance, and Twin Motion.
• Familiarity with tools like X-rite, TAC7, HDRI, and GEAR.
• Strong training and mentoring skills with experience in strategic planning.
